We’ve had a plumber out to our house 3 times in the past few months. No offense, but I don’t want to see him again if at all possible! Luckily The Shroom Company has created several products that can effectively help prevent the drains in your house from becoming clogged. The TubShroom, SinkShroom and ShowerShrooms capture any fallen hair (and there’s plenty of that at our house between myself and my two girls), and any other debris that probably shouldn’t go down the drain.
I really love my Kitchen SinkShroom. It fits so well in the bottom of the sink and actually makes my old sink look new by covering up the worn edges of the drain. The stainless steel construction looks great and works fantastically at catching food etc. so I can just empty the debris into my garbage instead of having to try to dig it out of the drain. No matter how much stuff gathers in the basket, the hole placement keeps the water flowing and the dirty dish water from filling up the sink.
The TubShroom is a must-have, especially if anyone in your family has long hair. Three of the five of us in our family have pretty long hair so this is a savior! We didn’t have one before we moved and cleaning the drain was so disgusting it made me want to barf! This little gadget collects all the hair for easy disposal and doesn’t get caught in the drain where it starts to mold and get super gunky. This one also came with a tub stopper which is great if you have to remove an attached one to install your new Shroom.
