My husband has a thing for TVs. He’s very specific about brands and stuff. Until he started pointing things out for me, I didn’t notice a difference from one to the next. All I cared about was that they didn’t look sloppy with cords hanging out all over the place. We have a couple of very nice TVs and both are mounted on the wall. Wall mounts for TVs are great because they don’t take up any space. They can also make your television more functional. One of our TVs is on an adjustable mount which allows it to be angled in different directions. This was a must for hubs because it means he can turn the living room TV so he can catch the baseball game while he’s barbecuing on the deck.
If you don’t want a mount, you can use TV stands for flat screens. I like our mounts but sometimes I wish we had a stand like the one pictured above so we’d have a place to put our receiver, satellite box and Blu-Ray player. The drawers and doors might keep our 2 year old from messing with everything!
Whether you are looking for a wall mount or a TV stand www.audio-video-furniture.com probably has something to meet your needs. They’ve got a great selection with prices for every budget.

We have stands right now, but we both really want tv mounts. I think they look nicer that way, and they take up less room.
Yes, they do look a lot cleaner that way. They also have these cord cover things that you can run your cords though that stick to the wall. We painted ours to match our wall so it blends in. We did the same thing for our speaker cords that are mounted and hid the wires behind our molding.
