Last year we reviewed the Umi Halina style shoe and we loved it so much that I selected the Halina B for my review this spring. Once again the bright colors and spunky pattern fit my oldest daughter’s personality to a T. Can you just see the sass in her?:
Ok, maybe not. She looks pretty sweet here, but don’t let that fool ya! 😉 The reason I love this particular style is because it goes well with just about anything. It’s like a cross between a sneaker and a mary jane. She can wear these shoes with leggings or jeans but they also look cute with casual skirts and dresses. The Velcro strap keeps the shoes on her feet so I don’t have to worry about them slipping off. She can run, jump and play in comfort. Plus, she can easily put them on and take them off without help.
As with all of the Umi Shoes we’ve ever owned, I fully expect these shoes to last through more than one child even as much as they’re worn. In fact, I’m just waiting for last year’s Halina shoes to fit my youngest daughter because they are still in great shape and completely adorable. I love being able to pass things down for her. It almost makes me feel like I got two pairs of shoes for the price of one!
