This is a sad Weigh Me Wednesday. Even though I am only 25 weeks pregnant, I now must visit the Dr. every 2 weeks because of my weight!!! He fears I have put too much on and may have to go on a restrictive diet. I knew I was gaining a lot and much quicker than with my other 2 children, so I am not sure why. I started lighter with this one than both, but it is still upsetting.
I do hope he gives me a diet plan as I thinkn it will be easier for me to know what to do and what not to do. I also don’t want it leading to diabetes, so we shall see. 🙂 I am skipping the recipe this week as Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I have been prepping for my family’s arrival all day (after Dr. appts. for my children). Stay tuned for next week’s though as we will have Christmas to look forward to!
My progress:
Length of Time: 25 weeks
Pounds Gained: 26

So sorry you are dealing with this. 🙁 I gained 54 pounds with both of my pregnancies, even though I ate so much less with the 2nd. My body just wanted to put on a lot of weight…a lot of water too. I started out about 114, so the percentage of weight gain for my body was huge.
I hope everything smooths out for you and you are able to avoid diabetes. 🙂 Best of luck. Angela
Sorry to hear its been such a rough day. I think too that a lot of it depends on the woman and the pregnancy. I gained weight fast with my first child and then after about 27 weeks, it really slowed down and I actually did not gain much at all after that, but delivered a healthy baby boy. Now with my second child I gained more in the latter months. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving and don't over do it! Rest!
Mary
I plan on getting back on a regular routine after Thanksgiving. I have a hard time during summer/fall but once the winter comes along i go into "hybernation turbo mode" lol This will be fun to see how your doing and keep in touch! I have lost 80+ lbs total over the past few years. I plan on losing another 30ish.
Thanks for your encouraging thoughts and words everyone! Sherry- awesome job on your weight loss! I watch Biggest Loser every week and feel so inspired and then get a kick out of the babes in my belly, so I come back to reality haha.
