I told you about a week ago that I have been trying to lose weight. I contemplated posting about it over and over and have finally come to peace with the fact that I am capable of doing it and I am fine to let all of you know.
So, I am creating a new series called “Weigh Me Wednesday.” Each Wednesday I will tell you my progress, my struggles and my triumphs. I know how hard it is to lose the baby weight after little ones are born and I hope that we can encourage each other, offer advice and any words of wisdom. So, join me each Wednesday.
So far, I have been on Weight Watchers for 9 weeks. I have lost a total of 15 pounds. Without giving my weight away (after all- this is the WORLD wide web, so who wants to announce their weight to everyone?), I am right at losing 10% of my body weight. I will say the range is between 12 and 18 lbs. 🙂 In WW, once you lose 10% of your body weight, then you will talk with your leader about a goal weight. Maintain the goal weight for 6 weeks and become a lifetime member. Which means- NEVER pay again! yay!
So, onto my progress. I lucked out this week and lost 2 lbs. I always say that when my husband is out of town is when I lose my most weight and it’s true! I don’t feel the need to fix dinner since my daughter and I are the only ones who eat, so we eat light. I still nurse, so it helps that I can eat a little more than many. I do a body bootcamp every MWF at 5:45 am. I had to miss Monday and Wednesday because my husband was out of town, so I am very shocked I had such a great weight loss. I always treat myself after I weigh, so we are having pizza tonight. It’s always ok to indugle once in awhile!
So, if you want to join, leave a comment and tell us your goals, questions, struggles and triumphs. I can’t wait to get this series going and hope we can all benefit.

Good job! It is great to support each other. I have a 16 month old and while I lost the weight since having her, I am trying to tone up. I have been plagued with uncontrolled allergies and asthma since haing her so it has been her.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! I think the hardest part is getting started and you've done such a good job. I joined WW after my November 2007 baby was born. I lost all my pregnancy weight and then some. I'm pregnant again and it is so nice to know how to eat. I'm 28 weeks along and haven't gained much at all this time.
I look forward to following your progress!!

Ok, count me in! I weighed myself yesterday, and I am going to put it out there. It was 163.2 and my goal weight is 125. I'll set my first goal at 140. I can't afford WW or the gym right now, so I'll be doing it by myself, with my treadmill, wii fit and the 30 day shred.
