I have three kid whose hands are surely loaded with germs. I’ve been pretty lucky because it seems their immune systems are in top working order. I won’t say they never get sick but their attendance record at school speaks for itself. This time of year we are more cautious because so many illnesses are going around and who wants to get sick and miss out on all of the holiday fun? This is especially true if you’ll be traveling! Whether your taking a trip across the country to visit grandma or a road trip to your favorite Aunt’s, there’s nothing worse than feeling awful because you or a family member is sick! We all know that hand washing can help prevent illness but it’s not always very convenient. That’s why we keep Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes handy!
Wet Ones are a great alternative when soap and water aren’t available. They’re more effective than hand sanitizers because they wipe away dirt and messes while killing 99.99% of bacteria. Another benefit is that they won’t dry out your skin like alcohol-based sanitizers will. Wet Ones are great for traveling because they come in convenient package options that easily fit in your purse, pocket or diaper bag. Choose from a soft travel pack (regular or “Big Ones” larger sized wipes), individually wrapped singles, or canisters.
Wet Ones wipes are hypoallergenic and contain soothing aloe and lanolin so they’re gentle on the skin, even for the littlest members of the family. They are available in Fresh Scent and Citrus Scent for a little variety. I like to keep the 40 count canister in my car. It fits in the cup holder which makes it super convenient. My kids can clean their hands when I pick them up from the bus stop after school so they’re ready for snack as soon as we walk in the door. They’re always there when we need them while traveling too! The 15 or 20 count travel packs are perfect for my purse when we are out and about. I think the individually wrapped ones are a great idea too. Packing one in my child’s lunch would make it a lot more likely that they actually clean their hands before they eat!
Wet Ones are available nationwide at mass, drug and grocery stores nationwide. For more information, visit www.WetOnes.com.
