Where Have I Been? In Boston at TJ Maxx and Marshalls!

Remember when I said that we were out last week? I was in Boston visiting the TJ Maxx and Marshalls headquarters. We already knew they were such great stores for bargains, but I learned so much more while I was there that I never knew!

One opportunity we had while at headquarters was to meet some buyers for the stores. Buyers for TJ Maxx and Marshalls will not buy an item if it isn’t on-trend, first quality, and from a designer or brand name that customers know and trust. It is amazing how far the buyers travel to find the latest items!

Don’t ever expect sales from these stores. The prices are already low, so you never have to wait for a sale. In fact, buy the item when you see it because it may be the only one in your size (or even the only one in the store!), so it is a good possibility it will not be there when you return. Merchandise is marked down 20-60% every day of the year.

For all of you environmentally green readers, TJ Maxx will have reusable bags for only $1 at their locations. This, in turn, will pay for items such as socks that will be donated to Save the Children.

It is back to school time. Don’t pay too much for the same clothes. Head to TJ Maxx and Marshalls for all of your child’s needs. They will have the latest trends and you will not pay too much!

I also met a wonderful group of women from many other blogs. Boston is very beautiful and if you have never been. I highly recommend taking a vacation to see the old architecture in the buildings!
