Wonderful Halos Valentine Craft #Giveaway

This month has flown by! I can’t believe it’s almost February. That means it’s time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day. My kids are back in school but I haven’t heard if yet if they’ll be celebrating the holiday there. Since they aren’t allowed to share any supplies due to Covid concerns, I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say they won’t be exchanging valentine’s. Hopefully they’ll still do something fun. Regardless, we always celebrate at home!

Wonderful Halos sent me this adorable, family-friendly DIY Valentine’s Day craft kit to make little valentine critters using Wonderful Halos! My kids LOVE Halos — it’s one of their favorite fruits and understandably so! They are so sweet, juicy and delicious!

Anyone can make this cute craft at home. All you need are a variety of foam hearts in different sizes, toothpicks, googly eyes, glitter glue and glue dots. The project is pretty self explanatory. Just assemble according to the picture! Using glue dots, attach a large foam heart under the Halo to make the feet. Attach the googly eyes with glue dots. Poke the tooth picks into the smaller sized hearts and poke them into the Halo to make the antennae. You can add a nose with glitter glue to complete your critter. Aren’t they cute? I love the shadows they make! If you make them face each other a little it seems like they are having a conversation, probably whispering sweet nothings to each other! This is a fun and easy project to do together as a family. Add one to your child’s lunch on Valentine’s Day for a fun surprise! If you are able, share with friends to brighten their day!

Look for Wonderful Halos at your local grocery store. They are usually sold in a bag or a box. They’re easy to peel and seedless for a quick, easy, healthy and portable snack! I tell my kids that these are “nature’s candy”.
