There are times when I think my children can be brats (although I would never say that to them!). At times, it is great to have resources to help.

Betsy Brown Braun, best selling author of the award winning book Just Tell Me What to Say: Sensible Tips and Scripts for Perplexed Parents, has done it again with a book titled You’re Not the Boss of Me. Betsy is a child development and behavior specialist, parent educator, multiple birth parenting consultant and founder of Parenting Pathways, Inc. With Betsy’s credentials, she has created a wonderful book called You’re Not the Boss of Me: Brat-proofing Your Four- to Twelve-Year-Old Child to help parents with their dilemmas when raising children.

My children are still pretty young, but learning how to use the strategies in You’re Not the Boss of Me: Brat-proofing Your Four- to Twelve-Year-Old Child book are great! It’s an easy read and very relatable. My kids like to fight and argue over toys and there is a great section that I was able to put to use.
