Like much of the world, we’ve been sheltering at home for many weeks. My kids often claim they are bored even though they have plenty to keep them busy. We know they are going through a lot though so we try to find new things to engage them in. Last week we gave them a Flamingo Ring Toss game from Antsy Pants.
This is a fun game for the whole family. I love that it can be played indoors or out. The bright pink flamingos are cheerful and fun to help brighten your day. Just toss the rings and try to get them to land around the flamingos necks. You can get creative and make up your own rules too. For instance, stand on one foot while making your toss. We also like to assign an exercise for the losers of each round like 15 pushups or 25 jumping jacks. This helps us be even more active while having fun at the same time.
This game is a fun brain-break from distance learning and can be set up and played in just a few minutes. It helps children improve hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, and concentration too!
Antsy Pants games are affordable (Flamingo and Cactus Ring Toss are only $24.99) and they give back too! For every item purchased, Antsy Pants helps national nonprofit KaBOOM! build playgrounds for kids living in poverty across America.
