I’ve always been fascinated with the aloe plant. If I had any resemblance of a green thumb I might attempt to grow one myself. Unfortunately I can’t keep a plant alive to save my life! Thankfully I can still enjoy some of the many benefits of aloe with Desert Harvest products. All of their creams, gels and hair care products are 100% natural with pure aloe vera as one of the dominant ingredients. Research shows that Aloe Vera has properties that are antibacterial, antifungal, antibiotic, analgesic, anesthetic, antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory. That’s one powerful plant!
Desert Harvest products are made with the purest ingredients and do not contain parabens or artificial ingredients. I had the opportunity to try out a couple of their products and have been very satisfied with them! The Aloe-Herbal Shampoo & Shower Gel and Aloe Herbal Hair Conditioner are the perfect pair.
The 100% natural shampoo/shower gel gently cleanses your hair, scalp and skin leaving it clean and soft. It is formulated to:
- Eliminate seborrhea and dandruff
- Stimulate hair growth cycle
- Unclog hair pores
- Keep scalp, hair and skin moisturized
- Balance pH levels
- Improve appearance of hair and skin
I love the way this gentle two-in-one product leaves my hair and skin feeling. It also smells fantastic. I’m pretty picky about my hair conditioner but the Aloe-Herbal conditioner works quite well, doesn’t leave my hair tangled and smells just as good as the shampoo/shower gel! The formula combines beneficial levels of certified organic Aloe Vera with vitamins, herbs, and essential oils to transform dry, damaged hair by moisturizing and nourishing it.
I’ve also been using the Acne Gel. It is made with 80% pure Ale Vera concentrate and formulated to formulated to relieve the pain, redness and inflammation of minor skin irritations and acne while helping to prevent scarring and discoloration. I love that this can be used on the entire body since I’ve been getting breakouts on my shoulders lately. Aloe Vera can help unclog pores and reduce bacterial build up because salicylic acid occurs naturally in Aloe Vera. This is an ingredient often found in other, harsher acne products.
I found this interesting:
“Studies support the effectiveness of Aloe Vera to help with acne vulgaris, including comedones, papules, pustules, cysts, and nodules. Aloe Vera gel was applied to the skin twice a day. After one month, 66% of subjects were entirely free of all acne lesions, and 33% had marked improvement with minimal residual acne lesions. There were no patients with negative reactions to the aloe vera treatment. 100% natural, no parabens, artificial ingredients or preservatives.”
I’ve definitely seen improvement but my problem hasn’t cleared up completely yet. Desert Harvest also offers aloe products to treat Rosacea and other skin problems. You can find out more about everything they have to offer at DesertHarvest.com.
