Green Toys is a company that makes toys out of recycled milk cartons. The milk containers are reprocessed into a clean fresh plastic called high-density polyethylene, one of the cleanest and safest plastics around. From production to the packaging to product delivery, Green Toys strives to be as eco-friendly as possible.
Green Toys toys have been thoroughly tested and contain no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA. They are also designed without any external coatings, eliminating the fear of lead paint.
All three of my kiddos have enjoyed Green Toys toys over the years from play vehicles to tea sets. Our latest Green Toys product is a Cupcake Set. My youngest got it for Easter and she loves playing with it with her sister.
The tops and bottoms of the cupcakes are interchangeable so you can mix and match them. They are also hollow inside so the kids use their imaginations and hide different goodies inside and make up different games to play. They love putting the cupcakes on the display rack and pretending to have a bake sale.
Green Toys is a company with great values. To honor Earth Month, Green toys is taking the #PledgeToPlay and asking others to join in. This initiative is designed to encourage families to pledge to turn off their technology (tablets, cell phones etc.) for one hour each day in exchange for good old-fashioned playtime. Make a blanket fort or turn your bathtub into an ocean. Use those imaginations and toys without batteries to play with your kids and make quality connections while saving energy!
