April is organ donor awareness month. My father-in-law was the recipient of a donor liver which extended his life. I am very grateful because I may never have had a chance to meet him had it not been for his donor.

Thank you for posting this. My husband and I are both donors and I’d hate to know that my son needed an organ and I wasn’t a donor. How can you expect someone to do something you wouldn’t do yourself?
