I can’t believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow already! It snuck up so fast! A national online survey hosted by S.O.S. found that spending time together is the number one thing people enjoy about the holiday season. In a close second, FOOD! So it’s no wonder people love coming together for a meal, especially during the holiday season.
An overwhelming majority said the worst thing about hosting a holiday meal is the clean up afterwards. The same survey also showed that hosts are most likely to tackle the dishes after the last guest has gone home. I’m in the minority here, as I like to get the dishes out of the way shortly after the meal and don’t particularly mind the aftermath clean up. For me, it’s prepping the house for guests that’s the pits!
According to the survey, respondents normally spend about 2-3 hours per week doing dishes. During the holidays though 73% say that this time increases meaning they spend more time than usual doing dishes.
