Maybe it’s just me but I have favorite cups in the cupboard — ones I always reach for first. I should probably just consider stocking the cupboard with my favorite cups and getting rid of the rest. That would be a novel concept. Silipint half pints are my favorite for a number of reasons:
- They look cool. They are made out of 100% FDA approved silicone and they are bendy yet super sturdy at the same time. They come in lots of fun colors and even some prints.
- They are unbreakable. These bad boys are rugged and built to last — a definite plus when they’re being used by 3 kids.
- They are BPA free
- They are dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe making them extremely versatile! You can actually BAKE stuff in them!
The shot glasses are pretty awesome too. We used some at our Super Bowl party and they were a hit. If you like dropped shots like Jaeger Bombs, these are perfect because they won’t break when you drop them into your glass. They also create a seal when you stick them over the top of your bottle so they won’t spill!
Here’s a crazy fact. The inventor of Silipint, Rick Fredland’s first creation with the world’s first silicone dog bowl — the Tazlab Aqua-fur. Brilliantly, he took the same material and created Silipint, a line of awesome silicone cups.
I picked the half pints for my kids but I use them whenever they aren’t looking and now want to get a set of pint sized to replace the chipped and missed match glass set we have in the cupboard. The question is, what color? There are so many choices!
