In these odd times of social distancing we are finding different ways to connect with friends and family members. Everyone can use a little pick-me-up these days and what better way to do that than with some gourmet chocolate!? Theo Chocolate is a Chocolatier based in Seattle, WA, my home state. If you are looking for unique options, Theo Chocolate will not disappoint! They have some of the most unique flavor combinations as well as your favorites. They sent me some samples to try and they were amazing! I highly recommend sending some to your favorite teachers, healthcare workers, besties, neighbors or anyone that could use a lift!
The Honey Bee Confection Collection contains 7 pieces of handmade confections made with natural raw honey from The Urban Bee Company. This collection is dedicated to improving the health and conservation of bees through education. The box is beautiful and suitable for giving. It comes wrapped in illustrations of wildflowers that support bee populations. You can learn more at urbanbee.com.
The Honey Bee Confection Collection is soy free and gluten free, and includes:
- 2 Honey Cashew Pralines
- 3 Honey Saffron Caramels
- 1 Orange Blossom Nougat
- 1 Honeycomb Candy
These chocolates are amazing and unique. I personally LOVED the Honey Cashew Pralines but my absolute favorite was the Honeycomb Candy. Of course, all of them were melt-in-your-mouth tasty and decadent!
One of my favorite Theo Chocolate flavors is the Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar. The bright flavor of the lemon shines through in just the right burst of citrus amongst 45% milk chocolate. It has a fresh flavor that is surprising and unique! The pretty yellow floral wrapper helps lift your mood and put you in good spirits too!
The Coconut Almond Bar is a must-try for dark chocolate lovers. It’s 70% dark chocolate with tropical coconut and crunchy almonds — a great combination! This one was a little dark for me since I prefer milk chocolate but if you enjoy dark chocolate, you’ll love this one!
Theo Chocolate isn’t just good chocolate. They’re a good company with good values. As the first Organic and Fair Trade certified chocolate factory in North America, Theo Chocolate’s founding principle is that the finest chocolate in the world can (and should) be produced in an entirely ethical, regenerative fashion.
Every Theo purchase directly supports the livelihoods of over 5,500 cocoa farmers in their supply chain and their 30,000 family members, enabling farmers to send their children to school, feed their families, and reinvest in their communities. You can read more about Theo’s sourcing and fair trade practices here.
