I rarely shop at Haggen because there are two other grocery stores that are just as close to my home and are a LOT cheaper. This week was a BIG exception. I told you about my baby savings in this post. I went back and did another similar transaction later in the the week. In total I ended up getting 9 packs of Huggies diapers, 4 tubs of Huggies wipes and 2 jars of baby food.
To top it off they had another promotion where you buy $20 worth of Kelloggs brand items you get a voucher for $20 off your next purchase. There was no limit listed so I did it twice! Here’s what I got: 2 packages keebler cookies, 1 box cheezit, 3 boxes of poptarts, 2 boxes of eggo waffles, AppleJacks, Pops, Fruit Loops & Frosted Flakes cereal (all LARGE boxes) 5 boxes various Rite Bite snacks, and 3 boxes of rice krispie treats. I wasn’t able to come up with any matching coupons on any of these products but I did have some other coupons for $ off Haggen brand stuff so I also got a loaf of bread , 2 half gallons of ice cream (we needed more junk food ha, ha) and 2 bottles of cran-raspberry juice.
The total OOP for EVERYTHING above: $72.91 but I still have a $20 voucher which brings it down to $52.91. Once I send in my receipts for the diapers to Caregivers Marketplace it will bring it down to $43.91. Not bad at all considering the diapers alone would total nearly $100! According to my receipts it says I saved a whopping total of $135.44. Yay for Haggens!! Now if only my camera would work to show you my awesome stock pile!
