Some of you may be wondering what “Greek” yogurt is. I had never heard of it myself until recently but I’m glad that I discovered it! Greek yogurts are thicker and creamier than regular yogurt and carry a nutritional punch as they are high in protein. A single serving of Voskos non-fat Greek yogurt has a whopping 13 grams of protein and only 120 calories!
Voskos sent us a variety of their Greek Yogurt to try and strawberry was my favorite. Some of the other flavors were a little tart for my liking but I used the plain and vanilla varieties in our morning smoothies and loved that I was able to add so much protein to them without a weird flavor. The Voskos website has several ideas for how to use their Greek yogurt in recipes. They can replace sour cream, mayonnaise and cream cheese in many recipes.
Voskos yogurt also contains live and active probiotic cultures and no rBST, rBGH, GMO, and are gluten Free.
